Bob is a Vancouver based (adventure) tour guide with over a decade of experience in the tourism and hospitality industry. After studying International Tourism Management at the NHTV University of Applied Sciences in Breda (the Netherlands), Bob decided to move to Canada in 2009.  Bob’s first Canadian job at Fraserway RV provided him with an opportunity to literally travel coast to coast and to Whitehorse in the far north.

Over the following years Bob developed a strong passion for Canada, and his adventures have since taken him from the Orcas in the Johnstone Strait to the Aurora Borealis in Yellowknife, and from the vineyards of the Okanagan to the peaks of the Rocky Mountains. Over the years Bob has guided a number of specialty tours, including student tours, as well as tours for the logging and forestry industry, and band tours.

Beside leading tours in Canada, Bob has extensive experience leading tours in numerous other countries, including the United States, Belize, Malaysia, China, Germany, Finland, Estonia and Latvia. Bob’s European roots allow him to work anywhere in Europe legally.

Whether it is by foot, kayak or tour bus, Bob strives to provide each and every guest with an unforgettable holiday experience. During the year 2016 alone, over 1,000 people joined Bob on tours to various destinations including the Rocky Mountains, Vancouver, Whistler and Victoria.
